Berserk is more trashy than both though. Generic gore and nudity makes it seem mature to filty casual audience when in actuality all they're reading is an empty-medieval try hard story with an undeveloped, one dimensional MC.
Depends on what concept you're looking for. I love Berserk because it doesn't shy away from the mature point of view of things. But you might be interested on something else other than that.
