Well is this Anime worth watching,couple of people recommend but is the anime worth my time?

yu yu hakusho the god-father of shounen anime like naruto and Hxh.

I have watched it about 6 times now and it's a very enjoyable watch, last arc is a bit weak but that's compared to excellent Dark Tournament and Sensui arc.

So I suggest you watch it. Even it's dubs are excellent. It is one of the best battle shonens, too bad it ended prematurely.

Yes it defintely is! It is one of the best shonen out there and a great work from Togashi! (The awesome dude that gave us HxH)
This is one of the Anime that i wanna see getting a Madehouse remake.

It's freaking amazing. It's better than any other shounen out there (except maybe HxH, but that's also Togashi's work, so it doesn't really count). It's incredibly easy to marathon, and I suggest watching it dubbed. Justin Cook did an amazing job with Yusuke. All the other character's voices were very solid, as well.

Yes the series is quite underrated because it often get overshadowed by more popular 90s series. I.E DBZ. This series could use a remake to gain more popularity because this series needs it.

That really depends on you. It's a great anime for me, but I saw it when it came out, trying to watch it now may be different. If you've seen a lot of anime it may not seem original, if you can accept it was made in the 90's so it has 90's style art these are some of the things that each person has to decide individually. I always recommend it though.

I don't want to call out any other series but YYH still competes quite well with the newer shonen series. Even with it's rushed ending and outdated animation. (the art sometimes is still good by todays standards, like the art in my sig., it's just the animation that needs a remaster the most)
