Yu Yu Hakusho worth watching?

So I am at episode four right now, but to me it doesn't seem very appealing.
For example the graphics are awful ( I know that it's old and I am not criticizing it, but that just makes an Anime more un-appealing for me )
Is it a lot like HxH because I really love HxH !?

Anyway guys, please tell me your opinion about this, is it worth spending my time for?
And if not, what other Anime could you recommend me?

Don't let the animation fool you I almost made the same mistake with Slam Dunk and Rurouni Kenshin. YuYu Hakusho is a really great manga.
It inspired a handful of current series
Keep on reading you won't regret it.

I wouldn't say it's like HxH but the tournament in YYH is much better than the one in HxH. IMO YYH has the best fight tournament.

I just starting watching it and it's pretty good. It's written by togashi, who also wrote HxH so it should be worth watching.

You'll get used to the animations soon. I didn't like older animations either until I actually started watching old animes and adjusted to them.
