Alright this is a discussion about the TCG, I am posting this in here because this is not a discussion about the series or the manga, this is a discussion about the card game thus being posted in the Game Discussion section.

Now, what for all of you whom have played this or still do, tell us the type(s) of deck you use, or have used. I have been playing since the game first came out (on and off since then). The types of decks I use or have used in the past are

Main Deck:

Ocean Deck (has been recently improved upon by the newest structure deck Realm of the Sea Emperor) This deck I have used since I first went to a regional tournament back in 2005 and crushed Chaos decks with back when they were 100% legal. With this deck I control the entire field nobody has a card on the field that I do not approve of. lol

Other Decks:

Six Samurai Deck, This is my swarm deck that involves both XYZ and Synchro Summoning. Haven't been able to properly use this one quite yet

Dino Impact Deck, my personal favorite one due to my studying of dinosaurs. This one, is my absolute power house deck.

I've never used a main type of deck really. I improvised a lot basing my moves on the cards I have and.what my opponent does. I had strategies for when I played sometimes.though.

I have been playing sense the anime series was released in north american
I use a zombie deck

My favorite Deck is my zombie deck beacuse with my zombie world/field barrier combo I can control the field with zombies

My other fav Deck is my physic deck though it takes time it works

My next fav deck is my power deck wich main purpose is to bring out montage dragon or my yubels

Dino Rabbit's and Gadget Decks FTW! Once the players find an alternate for a RR, the deck will surely be tier 1, along with the fact of being better because of Inzektors being demolished and Wind-Ups chain being nerfed.

level 1 decks used to be fun to annoy noobs with. using support cards to get a full field of level 1 normal monsters. then triangle power and law of the normal... potential otk.
I dare say there is still potential for your ocean deck to run foul of a well built darkworld deck or if someone had a removal based deck running necroface and gren maju da eiza. one of my favourite decks when on the ds as I don't own sealed gold sarco****us irl.

I main a Dark World deck...now.

I used to main Dragonsworns but those didn't last too long with the banning of future fusion and limiting of REDMD and Chaos Sorcerer in the September 2012 banlist.

I also have a Kaiba replica deck that i like to play against other traditional decks.

oh if you make a good removal deck and protect cards like banisher of the radiance, macro cosmos, dimension fissure or banisher of the light (whatever is available to you), you can abuse the hell out of D.D. survivors and scout planes for synchro summons.

it also screws up lots of other types of deck such as dark world, lvl monsters or anything else using basic cards like sangan, masked dragon, mother grizzly, newdoria etc.

Yeah I use to use D.D. Decks, they can be annoying as hell to fight against, I remember one version of a DD deck I had was a variation of my Dino deck for Tyranno Infinity. The only thing that I honestly hate is when they banned Dark Magician of Chaos for nearly two years in the tournaments.

The Regional's I went to I would have won if I didn't have to leave before my last match :/ Back then the only power house of my current deck that I had back then was Levia Dragon, now its Poseidra, Neo Levia, Levia and Coradus. At that tournament I acquired Mirror Force, Legendary Fisherman and a few other staples to my old water deck xd But I think the only major decks that still give me a hard time at times are Dark World decks if they are made right, and Archfiend decks if they are made right

i run a e hero bubbleman deck its just super great love it and with e hero being my fav deck and manly the only deck i feel comfortable with so yeah

E-Heroes can be a massively overwhelming deck to come across but if you have the right cards then E-Heroes are quite literally screwed because they focus too much on fusing with one another. But my all time favorite E-Hero fusions are Elemental Hero Absolute Zero, Gaia, and Terra Firma

yeah, absolute zero is a beast. hope you've managed to fit it into a water based deck properly. I've not had much chance to play irl and not had time to test in my legendary ocean deck on the DS yet.

Yeah, I have found ways to integrate him, though those cards tend to stay in my side deck, I pull him out when I feel like toying with people or confusing them, I am trying to get my hands on those xyz sharks though I have a feeling they would fit into my deck perfectly plus other than Poseidra, Neo Levia, and Levia are my highest leveled monsters

lol funnier enough thats what i enjoyed the most about the game as it was more focused on having fun instead of being competitive as i remember back in the day i would have a 60 card deck with impossible to summon monsters but when you did manage to summon them it was well good now the game has a very uniform approach to deck building

Wouldn't that be a difficult deck to utilize? Considering there are no XYZ E-Heroes, D-Heroes or Evil Heroes it seems it would play almost like a Neos deck with the contact fusions in a sense. But an Xyz hero deck? That's a first to me, I take it you have Utopia in your extra deck then?

I use a Dark/banishing deck.
With the cards I have through the years, I've put together quite a formitable deck that hasn't been beaten yet. ;D
