Yu-Gi-Oh duel questions

Alright so... I started playing Yu-Gi-Oh again a couple months ago. Im still unsure how things work.. I use to play when I was a child but its been a long time since then. I have many questions that need to be answered so please help me out.

1) During each phase ( Standby, main 1, main 2, end phase ) what are you allowed to do?? I have many conflicts with friends about this...
- For the standby, what can you do? Are you allowed to summon a monster that turn? Can you use a monster's effect during the standby phase, for example, Master Hyperion's effect? Can you place a spell or trap during the standby phase? If so, how many spell or trap cards can you play during the standby? Could I play two spell? or could I play 1 spell and 1 trap?
2) "Once per turn..." does this take up a phase? If I summon Master Hyperion during my main phase, and use his effect, would it skip my battle phase and go straight to the main phase 2? Or does it all count as my main phase 1?
Also if there is multiple "once per turn" on a card could I use them all during 1 phase?
3) What are you allowed to do for the end phase?
4) Is the play of a card considered a phase?

Draw phase- draw
Standby phase- only useful is a card states it, but it is the time between draw and main.
Main phase- you can set spells and traps, as well as activate spells from hand or on field, special summon monsters, and normal summon a monster.
Battle phase- you can attack, activate traps, and activate quick play spell cards.
Main phase two- you can normal summon a monster if you didn't in MP1, however you can't attack with it because there is no second battle phase following this one, as well as everything else you could do in MP1.
End phase- happens when you end, but some card effects activate during the end phase.

All of these phases you can activate traps that were set the turn before the current. You can activate as many spells and traps as you want, as well as set as many spells and traps.

The once per turn takes up the entire turn of yours, however, some cards can only activate that effect in certain phases.

Hyperion's effect doesn't take up a phase, you can still attack. Some cards, however, such as Obelisk the tormentor (playable version), if you use their effect, you can't attack. It has to specifically say, though.

The playing of a card isn't considered a phase, but part of a phase.
