What is the picture without her head suppose to be?
Is her jacket open, and are part of her legs shown with kneecaps, or is it something else?
I thought she was suppose to be all innocent, shy and covered up, in road to ninja (the opposit of her character in the real naruto universe).

Yes it's her jacket and her knees. An animator might need to know where the jacket would part. It would animate differently if it were buttoned all the way to the hem wouldn't it? There might be a circumstance where the jacket would flap. They obviously need to know what's underneath.
