Nah, I don't think that's gonna happen. Sarada will be Hokage remember? And I don't really think Hinata stole Sakura's heroine status. Based on the manga Sakura ended up saving the World along with her Team mates. While the Last is canon Hinata wasn't really much of a heroine in the manga so there is that.

But Sarada's an Uchiha, and they are like Otsutsuki too in a way. It would be weird for her to be irrelevant there. I don't think Hinata stole Saura's heroine status, but the issue here is that people think that Hinata could of been a better heroine. They need to focus on Sarada more, but Sumire I think deserves to be a prominent female in the story based on the Anime Arc.

When this arc was happening a lot of people were complaining that Sarada wasn't getting enough screen time, and that was one of the things happening in the Manga for Sakura. She was barely given any spotlight. But I have good faith that won't happen considering Sumire has been MIA in the Manga.

All I want now is for Himawari to become a ninja T^T

But I LOVE everything else you said about Sumire. I'm a proud Sumire Fap :elmo: xD

Sumire's character is certainly enjoyable and interesting, if you ask me. I didn't mean to say that she's going to be completely irrelevant, but she probably will to some extent, just like all the other side characters.

The way I see it, Sumire was just a device character used to set the plot for this arc up, that's why she was created and her purpose on the series is pretty much fulfilled already. I may be wrong, though.

If I should complete my list... Hmmm... I guess 2 would be Sarada via Naruto Gaiden, relationship with Chocho and especially now, having seen her interact with her mom. 3. Sumire (damn you females!).

Then uh, 4 would be Boruto I guess? He's not bad, he actually might turn out to be my favorite down the line, but for now he hasn't put out enough for me to like him, but I do see him becoming my favorite taking his Time Skip self into account. (He needs to be more like Sasuke, and stop seeming like he's a pretentious copy of his father!)

5 would be Shino! LOL. Undoubtedly, his character development in COMPARISON WITH his pt.1/pt.2 self is nothing short of amazing. They really worked hard on him, and I honestly think this was a great turn around for him.
