Yes, I did. I've proven that you don't know definitions of the terms you're operating with, that sole fact is enough to not take anything you've written here serious.

Furthermore, you're the one who had started to agressively trying to prove my opinion on the matter wrong, which is methodologicaly wrong, as no opinion can ever be right or wrong.

But the thing is that my posts in this thread contain commonly known facts and my opinion on these facts.

It doesn't need any approvement or disapprovement - it's just my view on the terms, definition of which I know and understand (unlike you, as we've already settled above :) ).

Your posts on the matter, on the countrary, are based on your obvious denial of the information you've recieved from me and your desire to balance out your shaken picture of the world. They don't content any arguments what so ever.

I've used examples and scientific knowledge, while you, up to now, only replied in the same agressive manner: "no, you're wrong and in denial of my opinion, it's not like you say it, I think it's like *insert your opinion* because it seems to be so to me" - this is the best indication of typical defensive behaviour when you don't have anything constructive to reply on the matter, yet desperately trying to defend your own inner balance.

In future, before trying to discuss on something that seems complicated or/and important to you, please, learn definitions of the terms you're going to use, the methodology of discussion and argument, and, of course, master the control over your emotions :) This will really help you alot.

Incorrect and hypocritical. I am no more aggressive than you are. Your posts have also been filled with opinions. Your posts have been simply a pompous overflow of "I'm right because I say so." You explaining the biologial roots of happiness was just that, not proving why it doesn't truly matter. Happiness being insignificant and leading to a life of emptiness that can never achieve inspirations for change are not facts. These are your opinions.

But you are agressive, and I'm not :| Do the maths yourself.

Your posts have also been filled with opinions.

Realy now, Sherlock?.. How did you guess? U_U

Be sure to read bold and narrowed, better do it a few times.

You still don't understand that an opinion can never prove anything, do you? How can I try to prove something with an opinion? :|

I base my opinions on facts, that's what I use them for, unlike you, who base yours on just your thoughts and your beliefs. I'm merely explaining why and how I've come to certain thoughts for those who are interested, I never tried to convince anyone with anything on the matter, nor did I try to prove something concerning my view of the subject. Whether to agree or not is your right, I never tried to take it from you. You were the one who started trying to prove me wrong, dude.

Happiness being insignificant and leading to a life of emptiness that can never achieve inspirations for change are not facts. These are your opinions.

Opinions that are based on facts. I've built the logical chain, if you don't see or understand the logic - well, it's kinda your problem. Some of the others in this thread did. Is that why are you so concerned with what I've posted here anyway? Lol

Are you all still arguing about happiness being underrated?

Pretty sure this was just an opinion thread not an absolute truth thread.

Well, apparently for some reason the guy went mad after reading my opinion on that matter and started trying to berate it in every possible way Lol And I still have my bad habit of trying to show people flaws in behaviour, in hope for them to see and correct it.

I was no more mad than you, as you did the same to mine. I simply disagreed and was interested in debating it, same as you.

Well he said love is underrated but love and happiness can go hand in hand.

If you have love then you can be happy.

If you're happy then you can find love.

He sort of supported you by undermining himself.

But that's the conclusion that I drew.

Sure, keep telling yourself that :)

And what's up with that obsession of yours in constant comparing yourself to me? :|

Anyway, it's way too late in Moscow, or you could say it's already early. I'm out to sleep :)

Good night to everyone who's still in this thread now and sorry for messing a good thread up with walls of text.

Since when are love and happiness permanently intertwined? To underrate love is not to underrate happiness, as happiness can exist without love. Finding love is one of many ways to be happy, and is often the preferred way, but not the only way.

I say love is underrated in that many people don't get the full scope of what it means to love, either using the term for weaker emotions such as admiration, or thinking it's something that can be easily forgotten or replaced, while happiness is a generally agreed upon kind of feeling that everyone strives for.

I said can go hand in hand, not permanently intertwined.

Furthermore, what you say about people not getting the full scope of love also applies to happiness.

Again when you say happiness is something everyone strives for, that can also apply to love.

It's a simple connection of emotion.

Eh, not everyone aspires to find love. It might be relatively rare, but that there are many people content with a single lifestyle or one without growing to love another person that way.

I know what you said, but your insinuation that me saying love is underrated contradicts what I said about happiness not being underrated was an implication that they were permanently intertwined. Otherwise, the insinuation makes no sense.

People value money over happiness. That's one of the reasons why people mentioned happiness.

People value money because we live in a world where your best chances of survival and happiness is often thought to be through money. We live in a money dependent world. Nobody places money over happiness, but simply believe that half a life of hard work for enough money to ensure half a life of complete ease, and therefore happiness, is better than an entire life of struggling to make ends meet, which could lead to the exact opposite of happiness.

kind and honest people(the-non-hypocrites)

The first two just shows you what's actually important, and last one because people just run away from first two given the cowards they are.
