Personally I think basically all of Rihanna's music is garbage, or at least all of it that I've heard is. If her music was catchy I would give her points for that, as I do like catchy music as well as music with meaning, but frankly I've never heard a Rihanna song that I thought was any good at all. I don't understand how or why she is so famous when there are so many artists in so many other genres who are so much better than her in almost every way. She is pretty hot though, not gonna lie

Personally I think music is one of, if not the greatest art form. I just don't get anything out of her music. For me, music has to do at least one of the following things in order for me to like it:

Inspire me
Tell a story
Send a message
Have sick rhymes and/or beats (though I like all genres, Hip-hop, Jazz, and Drum n' Bass are my favorites by far)
Make me feel sad, happy, just...something
Make me want to dance
Be catchy in general
Make me reminisce on the past
Put me in a trance
Touch the soul
Have lyrics and/or a meaning I can relate to

I'm sure I could sit here and think of more, but frankly I'm exhausted. Anyways, I just personally get none of these out of her "music" and think it's trash. I'm not trying to offend anyone who does like her "music," this is simply my opinion.

Actually, alot of her music (event this song) have meaningful messages. "I Was Here" is a song inspired by hereoes who have made a difference in this world, and to inspire more heroes to make a change as well. "1+1", "Love On Top" are both love songs. words can't even describe the relevence of love songs in ones life, to the listener and producer. "***Flawless", sends out the true message of feminism. There are more artists who's messages aren't understood, but what can you do?

I think Beyonce is incredibly sexy and that video was great. As a fan I don't really expect to get much more than a semi-catchy melody, ass, and titties out of a Beyonce music video. And I wasn't disappointed.
