Your Theories that Kishimoto destroyed

Who Tobi was, who the final villain would be, the ten tails- ALL OF IT. Have you ever had an amazing theory that Kishimoto didn't go with? If so, i'm here for ya- it happens to me all the time.

Theory #1 - Tobi's Identity
Although I knew that this was VERY unlikely I really hoped that Tobi would turn out to be a future/alternate world Sasuke. It would add SO much to the plot and we wouldn't have to have so many flashbacks explaining Tobi's background. It would also explain why Tobi was always so interested in Naruto as a person as well as a Jinchuuriki and
why he was treating Sasuke like an apprentice.

Sadly, this reveal didn't happen and it turned out to be Obito Uchiha, which is fine I guess but hardly anything revolutionary or unexpected.

Theory #2 - Kabuto's Vendetta Trump Cards
Kabuto lied and had special Edo Tensei coffins prepared for both Sasuke & Naruto as he held personal vendettas and is quite the twisted bastard. He lied about Jiraiya and had Kushina, Jiraiya & Minato in one unit and had the Uchiha clan or maybe just Sasuke's relatives prepared for him.

Kabuto got taken out, Minato is under Orochimaru's control and Jiraiya really IS lost under the ocean. So, fair enough.

Theory #3 - Remember that Yamato guy?
Here's the one I was most passionate about. I always thought it was odd how they focused so much on Senju DNA before in the show, way back before the war even started- it seemed random and oddly convenient to introduce a character like Yamato who had Hashirama cells. Then he got captured and hasn't been seen since. What if Yamato was Orochimaru's scheme all along? Especially with an Edo Madara on the battlefield and seemingly nothing being able to stop him I was convinced that the 1st would be reincarnated through Yamato/Yamato would get the first's full abilities and enter the battlefield. It'd be a surprise & a total gamechanger because most people had even forgotten about him and nobody would have seen this coming. Especially with the whole 'Scroll that could change this war' and the fact that reviving the First was IMPOSSIBLE a few weeks back- I was CONVINCED that this was going to happen.

It didn't. Orochimaru is currently talking to the First Hokage right now. Yamato is forever lost. Numbers is sad.

Aw it would've added so much to the story though! we know almost nothing about the whole Kamui world that Kakashi & Obito keep sending people too so there we was plenty of ground to go into thar.

Well for me its a possibility, but I know how you feel!

I have my theory on the Ancient Ancestor eyes that even ties in to aspects involving Hinata, Sasuke, and the defeat of the Juubi....it is close to possibly being destroyed.

More of a general explaination theory, but revolves around the importance of the Yin-Yang and the Hyuga...depending on how much Kishimoto decides to detail the Hyuga it may or may not have any relevance at all -.-!

This makes me sad. Wasted potential and kinda strange how much they focused on kidnapping him. Especially as it was Kabuto who planted him there in the first place- it all added up!

That would have been cool if tobi was an alternate dimension sasuke but i just couldnt see him being a joker like that lol but still makes sense as to why he would make his younger self an apprentices and always want to protect him. Since the masked man was obito it makes me wonder why he so strongly wants to protect sasuke.

Yeah, Obito doesn't strike me as the nostalgic type. He had little reason to poison Sasuke and it's not as if Obito was ever proud of his clan or anything.

my theory was that tobi was izuna! It was totally crushed when i saw that half wrinkled face of obito....whom i really liked based on whatever we knew about him before tobi's identity being revealed.... And one more theory was that orochimaru is within kabuto and controlling him......which obviously was crap....LOL!
