Your reactions when you found out Obito was Tobi?

i was shocked and irritated kishi took a fodder and made him high tier but i was really like okay he survived getting 1 side of his face crushed by a boulder no brain damage blood rushing/building up


then bam oh the real Madara saved him and gave him too many powerups

Obito wasn't fodder he just got fodderized by Kakashi and Guy. I think he was pretty average we saw him take on that dude when he activated his sharingan. And also I agree with you, the dude should've had brain damage, his eye should've gotten destroyed,half of his heart should just be destroyed, but then I realized we should never apply real life logic to a manga that has giant talking animals, and ninjas who can breathe fire. It's sorta just like EMS how do you implant another persons MS into your own eyes if you already have eyes inside your eye sockets? Do the eyes fuse or what? :|

I was shaking my head in disbelief and I actually though It was a bad joke for several hours, but "the real" chapter never got released, the joke chapter just stayed there... It was obvious that who ever Tobi was he could in no way be Obito, the timeline simply diden't fit at all, in several key places (it still don't, and no, senju DNA don't fix this) and If Obito was Tobi it would create several plotholes (which it did) and some of them are still here today (an example is how Obito used his MS ability to survive the builder before he had unlocked the Mangekyu Sharingan) and I simply could not fathom why Kishimito, the man who invented the Naruto Universe could **** up so badly, and chose the worst character to be Tobi (don't get me wrong Obito was a brilliant suport character, but he should have stayed that was, he is one of the worst villans, if not the worst I have ever seen)

There wore many theories about who Tobi could be, but pretty much anyone with their head screwed on strait knew that Obito could not be the masked man, first of all litterly nothing pointed/hintet at him being Obito, the intire theory could pretty much be summed up as this:

Obito is an Uchiha, and therefore have the sharingan.
Obito have black hair, and so does Tobi.

This was litterly the theory... there was nothing more to it -.-' and yet Kishimoto chose to make Obito Tobi, it litterly looks like Kishimoto had planned Obito to be Tobi from the very beginning, but somehow his story had evolved way to much for it to make any logical sence, but, well Kishimoto diden't seem to care about that at all... He just wend ahed with what he had planned from the very beginning and in the process made the story suffer greatly in the process.

Agreed I was on Naruto base but back then I didn't like the idea of Obito being Tobi I respected his character more because of his honorable death.

I had the same thoughts I always thought Pain was going to be the final villain.
Kishi still should've presented it properly alot of people think all of this is only because of Kakashi and Rin. I know that Rin's death was the trigger to seeing how messed up the world is but meh


Really? I always thought Naruto had great plot twists. Even the little ones like finding out Madara and Hashirama knew each other since they were kids
Lmfaoooo I never thought about it that way that is true. Him becoming OP was cause of Madara's training, and his own which was shown in the manga. And him going dark was just bad. Honestly if I was in his place I would've never been the same but I wouldn't have done all of this. He's doing it for a good cause but I still feel as though he needed a bigger trigger to become dark.

The timeline does fit the only problem I see with Obito being Tobi is how the fk did he survive in the first place? He had no S/T jutsu when the rock slide happened. soo df kishi? But idk about the S/T ninjutsu it was stated that for you to gain MS you have to experience the pain of losing someone. And after all Obito's dying words were "Damn just when me and Kakashi were starting to get along,And I never got to tell Rin how I felt so he temporarily activated it? Idk man

I wasn't surprised at all considering all the evidence through out the show was always pointing towards Obito being Tobi

1) the lamest one being the hair
2) the eye he was showing was the opposite as kakashi
3) Then he used Dimensional skills similar to Tobi.
4) Kakashi tried to use Kumai on Tobi and he said "Don't waste your breath, that won't work on me."

Still read and enjoyed it when they finally told the public.

This is a natural process which takes place in every single person. So Kishi decided to make the evidence obito left behind lead to obito, whilst knowing that his fans are waiting for a big twist. Therefore he made the masked man obito even if the evidence led to him.

It's called reverse psychology mate.
