Edo Madara beat alive Hashirama. Not a big feat considering edos are proven to be weaker than alive versions.

On fair ground: Alive Hashirama beat Alive Madara. Edo Hashirama beat Edo Madara.

Jubi Madara is way stronger than Hashirama I'll admit but anyone in the top 10 with that Jinchuriki would be.

hahaha i think madara beats hashi if both in edo form, it's because naruto's help that hashirama could drop those things on madders. but true madara admitted that hashi was stronger than him when both were alive, but keep in mind that madara's objective was hashi's dna, what if he used izanagi while they battled, so not hours or days later..

Don't be one of those Madara fans XD if Madara wanted Hashirama's DNA he could've got it after he killed him. Madara wouldn't have had time to do Izanagi. It requires hand signs. Madara is lucky he had taken that precaution or he would've stayed dead.

maybe he THOUGHT that he couldn't do it, but that doesn't mean that he wouldn't maybe have beaten him. and you mentioning the taken precaution is irrelevant because that was part of his strategy, so no luck, lol if thats how it is then hashirama was lucky too that he made a wood clone
