[Discussion] Your original favorite charcter of One Piece was? And if it changed who is it now/why

My Original Favorite character of One Piece was Zoro. I love characters that can wield swords and he was the first one to join the crew. His and Luffys Bond is unlike any other crew mates in the Strawhats. Plus over time he has just done one badass thing after another.

But then came the Sabaody Archipelago arc lol. And as I read it Law entered the One Piece verse and I was an instant fan boy Overnight. He has a sword and a devil fruit that just gets better with time. But what really did it for me was the back story. Such a horrible sad story and it just makes you want to root for the guy any chance you get.


What about you guys did your Original Fav character stay the same? Or did you find a character that climbed the ranks to become your number #1.

I guy your talking about Zoro's master Dracule "Hawk Eyes" Mihawk lol. And he can shit on most the verse so yeah when you fight with Red Hair just for fun you have to be strong.

I dont know about top five top ten I would say yes but yeah he the worlds greatest swordsmen for a reason.

Alive? Yeah, he should be top five. But of every character we know of, he might not be. We don't know enough yet.

He can't help kill Doflamingo because he's not there. He doesn't appear that much and doesn't travel with the crew.

first it was originallhly luffy, it changes to sanji, wentback ti luffy and ussopp, then zorro then luffy again

At the very beginning my favorite character was actually Zoro, but it didn't take long for it to become Luffy and it's stayed that way. Luffy is just a greater character overall, I love his philosophy, personality and how he can be badass with a rubber power. I much prefer kicking ass without using weapons and Luffy's punches never ceases to amaze me.

All of the SH's, Law, Corazon, Shanks & Garp/Kuzan. Kuzan went up quite a bit for me ever since he left the marines. I think his character has a lot of potential. It's really difficulty to come up with a set of fav. characters since Oda created so many enjoyable characters. :l

Unlike you, I'm not a traitor jkjk I moved luffy from 3rd to 6th lol
Zoro has always been my favorite and Mihawk has always been my second favorite.
Luffy was moved behind Chopper, Brook and Bartolomeo
Borsalino, Enel, Magellan and Sanji have always been behind Luffy in that order, but from there I haven't really kept track
