Everywhere i go i see a lot of hate for Farytail, a manga that was very popular during its beginning. As a result, I would like to know you guys opinion about Farytail? DOes it suck? Is it good?

I started watching and reading it and it just turned really dumb afterwards. I don't hate it because there is some nice stuff in it, but Hiro just kinda ruins the plot by adding to much fan service.

Natsu is a bad main character. However, the series is alright...up until the Tenrou Island arc. Which starts at episode 96 of the anime.

Fairy Tail had good start in the beginning up to the heaven of tower arc, but after that Fairy Tail took a different route and went downhill from there. This week chapter was the biggest BS I have ever read in any manga series, so I can understand if some people decide to drop Fairy Tail now. I mean Erza new armor can "bend the laws of magic to their whim" and Sting surrendering was truly pathetic. Natsu is an awful main character who never changes and I use to respect Erza, but now all that respect wen down the drain. Lucy always ether crying or ether getting saved by someone every time, she loses the majority of her fights and her development is not very good, so the only positive Lucy has is her fan service.

Fairy Tail does not have a main story line(Plot) that it focus on, we do not know what exactly is this series is about, also the plot is scatter all over the place. I know Fairy is all about the friendship theme, but constantly using friendship as a hax power up is to repetitive and the "friend ship theme" is not use properly in this series. Fairy Tail is over all a below average series at least to me, if you like fights , abuse friendship theme, and fan service Fairy Tail is your manga.

To make it short, it sucks.

It just does, a mangaka shouldn't be working on 2 mangas at the same time, one of the works WILL suffer thus it's affecting Fairy Tail.

Don't waste your time with it, there are alot of better mangas out there.
