madara was surprised to be revived by edo tensei. There is much he didnt plan for(such as naruto being as strong as he is, and obito starting the plan early etc)

However, the amount of backup planning he did, was quite crazy. But he did have many years to plan it out(since he was stuck immobile with the gedo, until obito arrived.

But i enjoy madaras character.

People didnt take what he said seriously(such as hashi being strong enough to stop edo rinnegan madara)(stop not defeat)

He brings more conflict, and entertainment to the manga, because while he is still a villian, he is still fighting obito and alliance.

Plus he gives us more knowledge/observations we need, so small minded people dont go crying "plothole" over everything, just because it hasnt been explained.

Had potential. Kishimoto ruined him, along with Obito

Lamest villain in the series, mish mash of OP techs and not 1 shred of originality, absurd also how he conveniently knows everything.

This. His lack of originality coupled with his "god complex" pretty makes him super lame. Seriously, telling Tsunade she's a weak senju and mocking Hashirama's legacy whilst shamelessly wielding his power did it for me. Even Zabuza is ten times the villain Madara is.

If I were to stop caring about the thirty [At least] chapters where he sat on his ass, not doing a thing. How he seemed to not care about the Juubi, obito, or anything BUT Hashirama.... And the fact that his backstory and reasons for becoming a villain are weak [Though, the whole "despair" thing is intriguing]. I would like him.

As of now, he's a pitiful character for where we are in the story and doesn't live up to the role he might have as final villain.

A shamed character that was forced to take a backseat by Kishi so he we could hear corny and cheesy speeches.

Him and Hashirama have been shamed.
