[Discussion] Your opinion on Bellamy joining?

All the hate for Bellamy lol. I like bellamy's character even if he is an asshat because I think his character has really matured. Even though in paradise he was just a typical baddy, I thought now he has grown a lot. He is fiercely loyal to doffy even though doffy has betrayed hm multiple times and I think that is respectable. Stupid but respectable.

I like the idea of him joining, I think he would be a unique addition to the crew but I don't want him to join because it would be a complete betrayal of his character.

I don't see how it would be a betrayal of his character instead of character development.

Because bellamy is loyal to doffy not luffy. It was shown numerous times that bellamy is loyal to doffy to a fault. He had many chances to finally realize how bad doffy is but to bellamy doffy still is his hero (in a way). For bellamy to just now change like that because doffy was defeated would be betrayal of his character because it wasnt bellamy who made any action at the correct time. luffy did it for bellamy. it would be like robin never betraying croc and the asking to join the crew.
