I’m recruiting Naruto OC’s for a doujinshi I’m going to make, and I’m hoping to receive some submissions in this thread.
It’s a comic that takes place in the past and revolves around my OC’s. The main Naruto characters do occur in my doujin, but they are side-characters whose lives only intertwine with my OC’s once or twice. Your OC’s could be one of those side-characters as well or even be part of a small plot. Even if the date of this topic is old, you can still submit OC’s. I’m going about this by writing a lot first, and once I have enough material I’ll start to continue the comic.
The story is about: 7 brothers, age ranging from a newborn baby to the eldest who is 15. They’re grass shinobi. It starts when their mother dies giving birth to the 7th son. Their father is avoiding them by taking one mission after the other, basically leaving the eldest son as the man in charge. The story revolves around each of them growing up, and the hardships they go through trying to become a happy family again.
Timeline: The manga starts when Naruto is 6, and goes from then until the end of the war and maybe even farther. (but also deals with “flashbacks” depicting scenes as old as when the 3 sannin were still kids) So you can submit characters born anywhere in the timeline really. My manga follows this timeline: (it contains spoilers up until the anime halfway through shippuuden-ish.)
The genre: Drama.

Since then I haven’t created any content art-wise, but I did do some writing and the building of a decent timeline. As you can see I keep wanting to continue my project even after every hiatus, but I’m a chaotic person and haven’t discovered a decent workflow yet, so I just stick with writing for now. (writing and chaos works really well for me I’ve discovered!)
If you want to submit characters for my story please tell me their basic character info. (You can keep it as brief or elaborate as you want. The more elaborate the character the more likely they get an important role in the story) They don’t have to be of the hidden grass, nor do they have to live there, you can make your OC however you wish.
Please mention a birthdate rather than an age, e.g. Naruto was born in 1987 in my timeline. You can submit character of any age really.
I’m not going to be posting my writings publically as they’re basically scripts for the comic. And reading a novel is very different from reading a script. However, if you’re interested I can send the chapters in which your characters are involved confidentially. And feel free to leave a PM or message on my profile if you have any questions.
