I am debating with someone and they really aren't listening to logic at this point, but maybe I am missing something. Did Sasuke block the senbon protecting himself and Naruto's back or did Naruto simply dodge the senbon

The other person's argument:

Next to the panel that sasuke is looking back and says byakugan see naruto spin and look back at sasuke before he is hit sensed it and moved. And you believe that sasuke wasn't trying to protect the hawk and himself yet the hawk was hit in its VITAL SPOTS sasuke words wings art vital heart, lung these are vital spots. Also notice that it's sasuke left arm bent at a 90% angle across his heart where the needle hit him sasuke put his arm there to stop the needle from going into his heart and dying himself. Again please read and look at the whole chapter before you draw conclusions from one panel.

He was protecting himself and Naruto, The Susano hand isn't larger than a whole bird and i doubt He could support a Full susanoo while they are flying above Lava. Obviously he's Protecting the Bird as much as he could, but the birds wing span is much :Larger than Susanoo hand. The bird got hit and he and Naruto reacted, while Sasuke was distracted noticing the bird was hit and they were falling a stary senbon, but had enough time to react but it still hit one of his chakra points disturbing his Susanoo and he couldn't control it.

The senbon is nowhere near his heart. His arm is covering his face. idk wht that guy is talking about, you can't even see below his arm sleeves.

Sasuke summoned Susanoo to protect himself, Naruto, and the Hawk from the senbon. He wasn't able to cover the hawk's entire wingspan and she managed to hit the chakra points in it's wings. Sasuke turns around to deduce the previous action. The senbon pierces through the Susanoo, and Sasuke raises his arm to successfully block it.
