Which was the First manga That you ever read??
And How did you,in the first place, develop Interest for Manga...Reading it?

Lets start with me...
I knew there was this Naruto anime, But never watched it seriously!! I even didn't know there is such a thing as MANGA some 2 years ago!! But then my Bro bought Naruto game CDs and Its then when I liked the background story N all!!
And thus started reading manga...
Soo NARUTO is my first manga!! xd

DBZ - I was at the library with my mum, we were there to borrow some picture books (I was in grade 1 or 2) and as we were about to leave we came across an anime shelf. My mum picked up a DBZ cassette and said it looks interesting (I remember it was the cell saga) we took it home and it was just there on a shelf for a couple of days before I gave it a go. As soon as it played I was so fascinated and the first character I saw was Yamcha and he became my favourite (temporarily until I got to know the anime). After a couple of weeks we went to return the books and cassette and when we were there I asked the librarian for some DBZ picture books (silly) at first she didn't know what I was on about then she knew I meant 'manga'. So she placed some on hold and after a few days we went to pick it up. I still remember it was Dragon Ball volume 7 RRA (red ribbon army when they were underwater) and as I got older and entered the third grade I gradually started reading/watching from episode/volume 1. This happened in 2005-2006, god knows what would have happened without my mum. She got me in DBZ and DBZ got me into other anime's such as: Rurouni Kenshin, Inuyasha etc. I only started reading Naruto in grade 4 (2008). So my first anime/manga was DBZ

Shaman King. A company had decided to translate some series in Dutch and my mum thought I would find it interesting, so she bought the first volumes of Shaman King and Yu-Gi-Oh. Naruto is actually my third manga.

At first it was weird to read in the Japanese order, but I quickly got used to it and now I unfortunatley tend to read Western comics that way as well before it dawns on me that it's the other way around :ghehe:
