Your First Impressions

What were your first impressions of AoT? I think it's a really plot twisting anime/manga. Just my opinion.

I forgot how I got the tip, but i started watching it towards the end of summer. I immediatly fell in love with it (and Mikasa). When Erin died, I was left completely taken by surprise. Soon after that episode, I started the manga. It took me a whole day to catch up, but I was never bored.

I like it it is my second favorite manga after berserk.

Ye, i basically felt the same way as you! I also didnt expect there to be that much deaths, but that just made the anime better overall..

I heard somebody say that the animation of AOT was the best one out there, even the trees looked awesome.!!

after hearing that I wanted to see what the fuss was about..!!

first episode was good, but not that addictive, upto 4th episode I was like OK not much of a big deal, mehhh...

then fifth episode, the main character d-dies...WTF...!!

I was like WTH is this for real, how...why...what.???

then hooked until the final episode of the anime.!!

roller coaster ride, waiting for the anime every week was such a drag.!!

don't plan on reading the manga, will wait for anime to come back.!!

Watched the first season in two days and read up until the then current chapter (About 6 or 7 months ago so,only i missed out on a total of 7 - 9 chapters) in one night.

Then i realized it was going nowhere.

First episode was awesome and I though this would be a great anime , but I was disappointed . Meh Anime , characters are boring . Only the animation is what makes it worth watching , everything else is meh .

At first I was a little put off by the art work however as I kept reading the more I loved it and it quickly rose to my number 2 spot on favourite manga and anime. Since I have started reading it has kept me soo~~~ interested :3
