In terms of pop it's Shakira, Adele (not a fan), Beyonce (not a fan), Lady Gaga etc.
I guess Lorde and Birdy are decent too.
For hip-hop, it's straight up Dessa (of Doomtree) for me. Great rapper (can rap in odd time signatures) and has a very nice voice.
Jean Grae has decent vocals too.
For rock/metal vocalists:
Ronnie James Dio, Bruce Dickinson, Matt Barlow, Stu Block, Layne Staley, Chris Cornell, early James Hetfield, Chuck Schuldiner (growls on Leprosy are beast), Corpsegrinder, Per "Dead" Ohlin, etc. Robert Plant and Roger Daltry too!
Don't care for much modern metal vocalists besides Rody Walker, Spencer Sotelo and Tommy Giles Rogers.
