My Four Favorites are Hinata, Kakuzu, Han, and Hanzo, but I'll go with my longest term favorite.
Hinata's entire character is amazing. She starts off having a really rough childhood. Being considered nothing but useless trass from her family....the one place you should always be encouraged, and yet they casted her aside....normally that kind of childhood should leave one bitter and resentful, and yet Hinata is gentle, kind, and caring.
In addition, she has helped Naruto so many times when he needed it in both emotions and combat. She helped encourage him to take the Written Exam because she didn't want him to dissappear. She gave him the courage to face Neji in battle, and she was there to save him when Neji died. In combat she protected him against Pain...while she sucked it up big time...her actions indirecty save him and the village. She was also willing to become a human shield...though Neji beautifully sacrificed himself for the both of them.
Returning to her personality...it matches my own. She is practically a pacifist as far as her gentle personality goes. She is also caring and wishes to be friendly with everyone. For example, paying attention and trying to confort Kiba when he was giving his Hokage rants....she did this while not deterring anyone else from also wanting to be Hokage. She's also shy around Naruto...while I am also kind of shy around my crushes...I'm not exactly at her horrible degree.
To conclude....she's kind, gentle, brave, and to top it off she's pretty (well...as pretty as a 2-D drawing gets ;P)!
