true he doesn't has a senju DNA and he didn't steal hashirama power like madara or obito

but Sasuke has more powerful jutsu than itachi

Chidori Nagashi ( he can use it with the sword as we see in deidara vs Sasuke fight )
he has a curse seal ( in the past )
he has kirin ( one of the strongest jutsu and itachi himself admitted that if he didn't use susano in the right time he was suppose to be dead )

he is very fast

and most improtant he has better stamina and Chakra reserve comparing to itachi
itachi needs to rest after few jutsu

Yes, Sasuke does have more powerful techniques per say, but that does not equal talent.

Itachi observation and analytical skills allows him to look several steps ahead of the fight even without his Sharingan. If you listen to the Obito and Zetsu while even looking at the way Itachi fought even while partially blind, he lead Sasuke through that whole fight as a way to get him to free himself from Ororchimaru's influence.

I am not saying Sasuke is not talented, but he relies way to much on his most powerful techniques to get the win compared to Itachi who knew that MS has its limits and got by without using those powerful techniques and was still on top.

Sasuke was so blind and arrogant that he used Amatarasu and Sasanoo so much that he went blind in a matter of weeks. Even though Sasuke probably planned to get his brothers eye's it was still reckless.

I AM NOT SAYING SASUKE IS NOT TALENTED OR POWERFUL, but throughout the anime you can see that Itachi talented beyond Sasuke still. Sasuke has a lot more potential then Itachi though. As stated by most other powerful characters: obito, and Orochimaru.
