Plot Summary: Kenji is an unsuccessful, death-luck guy that tries to earn his life running a convenience store while taking care of Kanna (the daughter of his sister, missing for some mysterious reason) and standing his mom's constant complains. His life has hardly became what he dreamt of in his childhood, but the memories of youth help him to cope with his daily-life problems. However, one day a costumer of his (Prof. Shikishima) went missing. The police went to interrogate Kenji. All seemed like an anodyne drink-and-run case, however, while collecting the empty bottles at Shikishima's house, Kenji spots a symbol that he and his friends created to represent their friendship.
From there onwards, that symbol will be seen in fishy cases of disappearance and deaths implemented by a mysterious conspiration leaded by a man who calls him self "Friend"...What is Friend's goal? How is he tied to Kenji's past? Will Kenji be able to put together the puzzle, which keys remain in his hazy childhood memories?

My favorite dead character is Light, I loved his development in the series. It really showed how much power can change a person, the difference can be seen clearly when we compare Light(No memories of Death note) to KIRA-Light. When he tied to catch Higuchi with L, he was honest, kind person who wouldn't have put his loved ones in any kind of danger, but he got possessed by the Death note's power. Yes, he had good intentions at first, but as the time passed by he lost himself and didn't care about his goal anymore, he just confused himself with a God. Light realized this when it was already too late, it was painful to see how desperately he tried to escape death with his last remaining strength and the fact that he knew ''nothingness'' would be his destination.
