The New 52 is the DC Universe, but rebooted. After The Flash went back in time, he disrupted the chain of events of the time he went back to enough that it caused everything to happen differently, creating a completely different world. This is called the Flashpoint Incident. In this universe, Bruce Wayne was shot down in Crime Alley, Thomas Wayne became Batman and Martha Wayne became the Joker. The Batman of the Flashpoint Universe has nothing against the use of lethal force. The Superman of the Flashpoint Universe never landed in Kansas, and thus never met Jonathan and Martha Kent. He instead landed in Metropolis, and was captured by the government. Hal Jordan never became Green Lantern, but he did meet Abin Sur. After The Flash changed events again, everything went back to the way it was before, with minor differences.

I have no idea. I dislike Marvel's universes, since there are so many and I can't keep track of any of them. I'm assuming it is the same as the New 52.

Bruce is still Batman in the New 52, yes. But things are fast-forwarded, such as the introduction of Damian Wayne. There are a few other differences, but I cannot list them all. Events in the old 52 can be considered canon, I guess. But the Flash changed the timeline of his entire universe, so it's hard to say.
