As the title says, we all know that a great deal of characters in the series have gone through stages, forms, transformations, and evolutions in power left and right, but which are your favorites? For me personally, overall power plays the very least roll in my liking of a certain version of a character. So to start things off, a few of my favorites are:
Sasuke: Pre-deidara Fight with 2nd stage Curse Seal transformation, his curse seal will always be my favorite, I don't even like Sasuke but that transformation is too badass for me to care.
Kimimaro: 2nd stage curse seal form, his dance of the clematis flower and vine was my favorite attack that I'd seen in the series up until that point
Gaara: During his fight with Deidara, after maturing a bit, becoming sane, becoming kazekage, but still having Shukaku
Madara: My favorite version of him will always be his Edo Tensei form, for two reasons. First, because it was the only form that used tengai shinsei, and second because it was the only precedent in the history of the Naruto world of a character making edo tensei an actual power of theirs rather than a granted stated that could be taken away. Also that form was just the right mix of ungodly powerful in comparison to everyone else without overdoing it. A close second is one eyed living Madara, because limbo is just awesome. It almost pains me not to hold 2 eyed Madara as my fav, because I thought his version of chibaku tensei was just awesome, mostly because it was basically a meteor shower.
Nagato: While still using the six paths. As cool as it was seeing Nagato actually fighting himself, the six paths of pain were a very unique and unprecedented type of villain at that point, and awesome to see in action.
Obito: This one is actually difficult considering just how many versions of him there have been, but I would have to say my favorite is a tie between Guruguru Obito right after he awakened MS (because this is the only time we really get to see a showcase of him using mokuton), and Obito during the fight with Kakashi, Naruto and Bee because that was basically showing him at his fullest potential as a combatant, though his taming of the six paths jin just prior to this wasn't far behind.
Sasuke: Pre-deidara Fight with 2nd stage Curse Seal transformation, his curse seal will always be my favorite, I don't even like Sasuke but that transformation is too badass for me to care.
