However, it just has consequences on him. If Sasuke's going to be the one to end the curse of hatred, Madara's doesn't also need to be redeemed. Some villains need to die villains
it would also cheapen Sasuke's inevitable redemption. this generation surpasses the last. Naruto surpasses Hashirama by saving Sasuke, while Sasuke surpasses Madara by returning. However, if Madara's redeemed, then Naruto and Sasuke don't surpass Hashirama and Madara. They just copy Hashirama and Madara.
