Man, I really miss the first Naruto, part 1 too but I mean the character.
The one that got me excited about this series in the first place. The abd@ss, yet stupid and calm Naruto that I love :3
The one that pealed in comparison to sasuke entirely, but was still a favorite of mine. When Naruto lost to Sasuke, everything changed, I got wiser (cuz I grew up with Naruto like many) and start thinking more. "Damn, how did Naruto lose!? DF he had the fox powers and everything."
Then after a few years when I lost contact with Naruto I started thinking about it again, and I was like "oh shii I miss that, I wonder if it still comes on!" Then I was introduced to shippuden, I still loved naruto as a character, but he was wiser.
I didn't like that, was really unlike his character, and I saw him get thrashed by Sasuke .. again :| liking him less and less. And I was think "why is sasuke so much better than Naruto?" Isn't he the main character, he sucks now."
Then even when Naruto start getting smarter, wiser, and stronger I just didn't like his character anymore, and that sasuke was right, he was just playing ninja in a village like a kid.
But then =D SM Naruto came about, liked naruto again, he was still smart and that's what I still disliked about him, but he was cool as hell.
After him, he pretty much fell off entirely to me with the kcm, being compared to minato, oh and the rasengan's.. ugh boring af.
I didn't hate naruto, he's my top two favorite character now. BM, didn't like him too cocky, BSM loved him because he did a really dumb moment trying to be .. again too cocky in front of sasuke lol. RM Naruto I liked when he fell over the rock trying to rasengan sasuke in the face, and current naruto he's too wise, too grown up, too much responsibility to be that likable idiot we all love.
Its not a bad thing, its just my personal opinion, but the main reasons for making this series this long was for us to see him grow .. obviously not everyone is going to like it, and I'm one of them.
Also for the trolls the purpose for this thread was to, idk see how much naruto has grown and fell off to me, and to see who my favorite one is, I might do sasuke, itachi, Lee, Gaara, Orochimaru, and Madara too.
