Lol. Rap is the pinnacle of songwriting, and is a representation of true mastery over any given language.

Spoken like someone who's ignorant of my daily habits. I listen to a lot of rap and really enjoy it. I love drake, jay z, kendrick, lil wayne, flocka and lots more. I just appreciate msking your own music

So then you'll know Kendrick's newest album used mostly live instrumentals mixed with samples. Not to mention a lot of rappers produce and play several instruments. Don't close your mind so much that you think rap is simply putting two words that sound the same near each other. It's much, much more complex than even Kendrick Lamar or Jay Z.

Except rap isn't the pinnacle of song writing. The majority of the genre is entrenched in sampling, so it's hardly mastery over anything except maybe poetry.
