Sasuke/Itachi relationship: Any flashback containing Sasuke as I favor him and I after Itachi's past was revealed I changed from disliking (solely due to what we the viewers thought he did to Sasuke) to liking his character.

Kakashi Gaiden: A very touching story between three friends which reminds me somewhat of team 7.

The Pain of Nagato: The flashbacks concerning the Ame orphan were sorrowful indeed and Nagato's past struggles reminds me of Sasuke.

Kimimaro: He basically lived a life manipulated/influenced by someone who possessed absolutely no feelings for him.

Sai's story: This flashback was touching as Sai an orphan grew up as an expandable emotionless assassin to further a malevolent man's ambitions but was still able to feel something for a friend he thought of as a brother who died young.​
