Kanye never said he didn't want the verse on the album. Kanye said what Nike did to him would be like if he took Nicki's verse off of the album out of fear that it would outshine him. Kanye said Nike was scared his designs and ideas would be so good, it would outshine theirs, and used a hypothetical to illustrate that, but that went over all the Nicki stans' heads. You do it so much it doesn't seem to be sarcastic anymore
It was brought up because King Push always says SB wrote it LOL.

But why not bring up a legendary verse that kanye didn't want on his album at first because people would think of Nicki's verse Lol. She out rap all of the rap legends in one verse.
Yasssssss most of these rappers could never release anything as good as this album

Kanye West, who has named her verse on his 2010 cut ‘Monster’ the best Hip Hop verse of all time.

He didn't want the verse but he didn't let his ego get the best of him
He didn't deep down Lol. But he didn't let his ego get in the way and let Nicki shine. That's the truth xd"If I let my ego get the best of me."
As I said, a hypothetical.
TPAB
Tetsuo and Youth
Summertime 06
Those were 3 albums constantly on repeat.
Also, Nicki's verse is heavily overrated just like forest hills drive. The only reason it got hype was it was a better verse then people expected. The reality is all three of Kanye verses on Gorgeous, Pusha T, and Cy-hi The prince, and rick ross stole the show when it came to the best verses. Kanye third verse on Gorgeous was mind blowing and amazing.
"What's a black beetle anyway? A ****in roach"
Stop it. 2014 FHD is an extremely dope album. Also, Nicki's verse is heavily overrated just like forest hills drive.
You ain't wrong bruh. In the grand scheme of the album.

Its a dope album, but I hear people calling it timeless and a classic. Like I heard people debating TPAB and FHD. To me there is no comparison. FHD is just a dope album, but it isn't timeless, a classic, revolutionary, necessary, or anything else. People got to keep it at that.Stop it. 2014 FHD is an extremely dope album.

Oh, it's definitely not a classic or timeless. However, Cole is getting closer to something like that and his skills are developing into something that could produce a classic. That's what made me hype about that album aside from it just generally being dope as hell. Its a dope album, but I hear people calling it timeless and a classic. Nah I definitely feel you.And I know I'm not wrong. People assume that verse to be so brilliant, I've heard better verses this last 6 months. It is just hype and doing better then expected. It was a cool verse, I'm not hating it, but it is far from the verse that people make it seem. Rick Ross painted an amazing picture in his verse, sounded like ****ing Biggie. "If God had an Ipod I'd be on his playlist" I was crying at that line from Cy. The fact is people don't really understand verses properly. *****s can barely judge albums, yet how will they judge a verse? It isn't like renegade, Tupacs first verse on Hail Mary, Nas first verse on NY state of mind and first verse of verbal intercourse. It isn't like AZ's verse on lifes a *****, or Jay-Z verse on dead presidents. It isn't like the first verse on Return of the Gangsta from Andre. Yet people try to lump that verse into that. Keep it as a dope verse and move on. *****s always overhype and oversaturate the words "classic" and "timeless", that is how hip-hop loses its value cause we don't know how to judge it anymore. Best way to say this is, if that verse was placed anywhere else besides MBDTF would it be considered as good? Control verse was on a ****in throwaway sound that didnt make the album and still ****in lit the internet. Anyway rant done.
O yeah I agree, its a good step in the right direction, and I can respect that. People should consider the album a step closer to that "classic" he might produce. And glad you felt my vibe.Oh, it's definitely not a classic or timeless.
