PS, beating Obito in the Kamui dimension, not dying for dramatic tension in the arc it actually made sense for him to kick it in, getting robbed by Madara, stopping Sasuke from killing Obito, thinking he could Kamui the Juubi's head, spamming Kamui in general, becoming Hokage...he literally just shunts the plot from being more interesting than it actually could be- on many occasions literally stepping in and stopping an interesting thing from happening, including saving his own life.
And eh, I don't see FTG as tactical. I see it as another visually flat, nothing-for-the-eye, overly complex fighting style. I see him as boring Itachi and even Itachi isn't that great. Idk, he has a cool wife? A cool son? I've never liked him. Das jus me doe. I like a semblance of human fault or complexity behind my fanservice one-liner jutsu showcase ninja.
Genma vs Kiba. Genma wins U_U.
He was foreshadowed to beat Obito and become hokage though lel kamui "spam" was also explained. FTG style definitely ain't powerhouse style. The most power they have is a slice or rasengan. FTG battle possibilities are pretty large. His intelligence would bring forth creative battles like Sasuke vs Deidera etc. He is simple from what we saw though. Then again. We never found out his back story or about the Namikaze. His style wouldn't be nice and flashy sword fights all the time but more like "ohhh so that's what he did then, that was ckever." I like those types of fights. Not all the time though, you need to see something happening.
Nah Kakashi and Minato constantly have the ability to look at something or slash it's throat in an instant. Boring and needs to be constantly back-pedaled by the author to stop these characters from doing so. Plus they both seem inadvertently smug by the end of the series? This isn't Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, you gotta be somewhat human otherwise i'm not gonna care. It's weird to me.
So you're saying they are so OP that they're boring? :L *cough MS, rinnegan and jins*. Kakashi has a thousand jutsu! :Sparks: no one was merely human by the end. It was aliens and nukes galore lel they didn't seem smug to me imo. Kakashi could've been said to shit himself vs the meteor in the last. Minato was the only edo to get an arm taken off and not recover. Oh well, different strokes for different folks.
Kakashi started off great as a character who then started to linger and then become an actual nuisance for me. Minato has never seemed like a human being. That's all there is to it. Body Kamui, Jins etc were fun to watch. They DID things that were aesthetically pleasing. Minato & Kakashi's movesets are not for a visual medium. Kakashi's kamui became roughly the same.
That's all there is to it for me, plus it's just unlucky that it was Kakashi who was the source of a bunch of strange plot twists & audience c*ck-blocking. Poor guy. Plus he never uses the 1000 jutsu haha! Bc he has magic eyes that can poof villains away so why would you use them tbh
And by 'human' I meant as a character, as a personality.
