I just thought about having dreams on your own and dreams with a purpose to help others.
I mean, when you dream, for example: being a game director. What for? For money, fame, etc.
but if you do it for your family to ease finances, help other people, etc.?

If you do it in your own, you’ll most likely be discouraged. Especially when it’s hard to continue. You’ll just easily give up.
But because you have a purpose in mind–family to help, people to inspire, etc. Even if you can’t go on, you will do it because of them.

My dreams tend to be weird ones. I would say they are foreshadowing for future events in my life that will make much more sense upon rewatching, but I'm fairly sure i'm not an Anime character so it's unlikely that this is true.

Not everyone is motivated by the same thing, so having a dream (in other words, a goal) to help others only matters if that's what's important to a person.
