What has he done to make up for all he's done wrong? Manipulated or not, he does not deserve to be welcomed back into the village, and if he's as mature as he should be, he'll realize this.

If he must be killed, he, obviously, should be taken out humanely.

Obito's situation is hardly the same as Sasuke's. Sasuke has actually done more good that harm( Even though any good deeds he did were actually unintentional and meant to benefit himself in some way. so ironic).

Obito started a war that killed thousands, caused the death of Naruto's parents which in turn caused Naruto to be hated and have a crappy childhood, fueled even more hatred of the Uchiha towards Konoha which in turn led up to the Uchiha massacre, responsible for Sasuke's crappy life, assembled the terrorist organization Akatsuki, and much much more. All because one person died, he decided to view the world as crappy, even though nearly every other shinobi in the series has lost someone dear to them but continued their lives regardless. Yes, he was manipulated, but he still did those crimes. Though, his death should be painless though. (I also don't hate Obito. He's an interesting character. It's just that the manga has confirmed that he is dying, so this thread didn't have much point to it. But still an interesting question though.)

Obito should die. He should get the chair for his crimes.

yeah hes done alot of bad with the 9 tails attack, uchiha massacre, akatsuki,, etc but i think he should be imprisoned and made to work hard to clean up his mess like akatsuki. and serve rikodo naruto too thats what i would do with him
