Imagine you're a shinobi in NV and you are part of a group of elite shinobi called Kichi... everyone in our group has 32 points total and you have to split it depending on what you think your strengths and weaknesses are. So for example, a person strong in genjutsu but pretty lacking when it comes to intelligence might score 4.5 for genjutsu and 1 for intelligence.

What does the hand-seals section stand for? If you're proficient in techniques(nin-jutsu), then shouldn't you be so at remembering hand movements?

Close combat is rather risky. If you flip for a moment you're screwed. With enough speed I rather avoid close combat and traps and keep the enemy on the safe distance. Better safe than sorry.

While its nice to have this set up what if your opponent sacrificed Hands (1) to Taijutsu (5), and stamina (2) to intelligence (4), with everything else being the same. They would pretty much win unless you can outlast them, but thats doubted considering they are just as fast and adept in ninjutsu and genjutsu, and much better in taijutsu. Alot of ninjutsu dont need handseals so they wont nessecarily get their jutsu off slower then you.

well everyone has weakness so of course I'll be at disadvantage against some taijutsu lunatic who can keep up with me in speed. But thats why I maxed Nin,Gen and Int. I could trick my opponents with nasty tricks. That might not always work of course but my character is mostly a team fighter so I rather not try to solo people
