Lol , i thought that Doflamingo was a celestial dragon actually , while i was watching sabaody arc ... it was too simple , even though i saw a proof (manga proof , after they mentioned that he was a celestial dragon) i figured out by myself , omfg ...

oh and btw , the best arc? well... in an overall arc , i'll say ... Sabaody

but about the build up? Thriller Bark until Marineford war arc.

Mine would have to be Water 7 and Enies Lobby. For me that was a turning point in the manga/anime.

Honestly I feel MF is very overrated, not saying the arc is bad or anything but hype it way to much for more than what it is. It's still an epic arc though.

Story wise? Enies Lobby/Water 7. Just something about that saga was screaming complete inspiration and creativity on Oda's part. Dressrosa is almost 2nd.

Marineford is still the most epic war I've seen in the big 3 yet. Significant, tragic, etc...

I feel Fishman Island is severely underrated...

Loved so many arcs of op but I love how Oda has one arc build up for the next and in particular order
Water 7 to Ennies Lobby(Oda really took shiz to the nxt lvl)
Sabody to Marineford(magnificence defined)
Jaya to Sky Island(I have rewatched so many tyms)
Punk hazard to Dressrosa(still building up but u can just taste the grandeur)
Then there is East Blue, the arcs that sold me one piece(vintage Awesomeness)
Another fav of myn is Sabody II to FI, man I loved how Oda handeled the reunion and I know most think its meh but I was fun all the way for me, basically Oda knows what I lyk.

Marineford followed by Enies Lobby altho it could go either way now that Dressora is turning out to be this amazing...

I would like to say that to me tho MF arc never seemed like a war arc,more like a giant battle arc
When you think of wars you think of battles lasting for a long time with several battlefields and many more things but MF happened in the span of a few hours all in the same place.I am not saying the arc is bad (its my fav as mentioned before) but it just didnt feel as a "War" war
