Let's take two standard very basic ninja. A Kumogakure Chunin ranked ninja and a Konohagakure Chunin ranked ninja.
The Kumogakure ninja likely has lightning release and the Konohagakure ninja likely has fire release. The Kumogakure ninja is likely to use a sword while the Konohagakure ninja are likely to use shuriken and kunai. Judging from what we've seen of both villages, the Kumogakure ninjas tend to be bigger in body size (height/muscle) than Konohagakure ninja. Konohagakure ninja have an excellent training program though.
