Tbh Itachi isn't my least favourite, it's how Kishi portrays and uses him, his personality and story is pretty great. I just don't feel like putting Minato, Madara or Sasuke (characters who have few redeeming features since they've been fine lately)

Nah im serious, I think I hate it when Kishi chooses to have an anime bf for the month and wank them, it's a strange thing to do as an author. Itachi, Minato & Maddy are all examples.

lol I don't buy it. come on, you like obito, kabuto and probably orochi. The 3 characters in this series that has been pedestal for itachi's feats and/or hype while you just so happen to put itachi as your least liked. it cannot be just a coincidence.

madara is badass if not the most badass in this series I won't deny, but his backstory was ass and like nagato's it was another one of those "oh I lost my family, so now i'll betray my dear friends for my own vision of peace" clone which started with sasuke. but atleast nagato's and sasuke's was more interesting and grounded. meanwhile madara abandoned everything cause he overheard his boyfriend's brother dissing him. and don't get me started with obito's (which was amazing) backstory be completely ruined when it survived and did all this over rin. smh I'd take preachy itachi and gaara over that bs any day.

Really though? If we match them up then strongest form Kabuto has his 5 Nation alliance-contending Edo Army, Manda II & DSM. Obito and Madara are similarly matched in their strongest versions and Hanzo/Sakura is fairly obvious. Hell Itachi could fall to the flooding poison mist for all we know.

IT one shots Kabuto and Hanzo. Most of the edo army gets raped by limbo, mokuton legged susanoo clones, and Itachi can hold his own against some people especially if Sakura juices him up little bit with some byakugo chakra.

I passionately disagree on the Limbo front, it doesn't have enough feats to make such a statement, could he even have the time to cast it considering Madara's the only heavy hitter of the team? Constant Mist flooding the battlefield and being shot at him, all of JJ Obito's techs and Kabuto's Manda, Army, Sage Jutsu & White Rage would hardly give him an opening.

Then again, I don't really know the difference in power between Rikudou Madara and Rikudou Obito- maybe Madara takes his alone for all I know.

like 2013 (back when this stuff semi-mattered & Soloking Itachibase was fresh) where I admitted I was wrong about Itachi and that his sense of humour is kinda a saving grace from Kishi's lovemaking portrayal. I've always been anti author-wank and thus I don't like every character who Kishi does it to. Also naaaah to Orochimaru- Obito, Kabuto are similar characters...Oro is kinda plain.

Technically, Kabuto is a pedestal for Naruto also, being rasengan new tech bait yet I accept that and the Uchiha Bros takedown are necessary for the plot and not especially impossible in the context. I hope to think my favs aren't decided that shallowly. Madara is the most disappointing character in the series IMO, he was in my top 5 favs back before he was revived, I was the series had retained some of it's mythology and left it at just that. Madara, sometimes Sasuke and sometimes Itachi are Uchiha elitism incarnate to pander to the target demographic.
