Interesting discussion going on.
Several possibilities imo.

Where would one put Nagato in this all?

Multiple people represent the younger and older son maybe.
I think Hiruzen and Danzo do as well for example.

I think Martin Luther King Jr. said it best “Power without love is reckless and abusive, and love without power is sentimental and anemic." I think Sasuke is seeking within himself the proper interplay of power and love to achieve peace, and through this he represents both the Elder and Younger Sons
You could be right in that. Sasuke has been influenced by both ideals. He has seen both extremes which are hashirama and Madara. Sasuke adopting both ideologies could make him both.

The plot involving the Senju vs Uchiha, the curse of hatred its dichotomy and resolution is of direct relevance to Sasuke's characterization.

The plot involving the Sage, the Bijūs and the Jūbi is of direct pertinence and relevance to Naruto's characterization

Naruto represents the Rikūdo Sennin

Sasuke represents both the Elder and Younger Sons
Sasuke has indeed been walking on both the older and younger son's paths and Naruto after all, is following the path of the sage.

On which path, or where in the picture, would Hashirama fit?

Hashirama represents the younger son, one could say he's the reincarnation of younger son. He wanted to achieve peace by uniting the clans but naruto(as the reincarnation of sage) is trying to achieve peace by reuniting the nations as well as trying to remove hatred where hashirama failed. .
