Something hit me while watching the new Young Justice ep and the ending with Wally yelling at Dick basically confirmed it to me.
Something really bad is going involving Agualad. Something really bad. I think this because Impulse, who is from the future, saw Agualad as a bad dude. This shows that Aqualad was never later recognized as someone undercover, he remained known a bad guy. This shows one of a few things:
1. He is truly a triple agent and is playing the League and the Team.
2. He was killed by Jade, who obviously holds a grudge against him, or was killed otherwise.
3. The Light's plans has caused a tragedy, which causes the apocalyptic future Impulse comes from. This tragedy killed off most of our main characters and he lived in ignorance of this ploy due to no one being around to tell him.
Of course, there are many other scenarios, theories and ways this can lead too.
What do you guys think? Is Aqualad a triple agent? Does Impulse recognizing Aqualad as villain mean anything?
