Kakashi has already surpassed the Chidori with the creation of Raikiri. Raikiri or Lightning Cutter was named because it was said Kakashi split a bolt of Lightning with the technique. Raikiri is the more concentrated and controlled version of Chidori, while Chidori is considered an A-rank technique, Raikiri is considered S-rank. So, no I doubt Kakashi will use Chidori anymore when he has access to a stronger version with the same drawbacks. Also, Kakashi was only able to perfect the Chidori with the Sharingan, since he doesn't have that, I doubt he'll need to use Chidori anymore. The cast of Naruto will not get any development in Boruto, at this stage they are supposed to be fully developed ninjas of the last true ninja generation.
