he could but he would have to find a way to work around the weakness of the technique as he doesnt have sharingan.

in any case, sarada has to learn something, she cant be sold short like that. it would be improper imo.
It would be cool to see Sarada combine CES with Chidori like in Storm 4, and for Boruto to finally make that Lightning Rasengan Kakashi couldn't do but with Chidori instead.

Either one is fine tbh. Kishimoto is great on sharing lmfao

Sasuke should teach Boruto to use lightning element effectively, but let Boruto stick with Rasengan. Boruto could use Lightning Clones like Kakashi, or augment his weapons with lightning style.

If Boruto awakened the Byakugan, Sasuke could teach Boruto how to add lightning to his gentle fist.

No Sarada's gonna learn it. It's already foreshadowed in Storm 4, I can see her getting that arsenal pretty quick, Katon release and Chidori/CES fusion. She's the only one capable of using it to it's potential anyways.

In my opinion, I don't see Sarada using Chidori but instead Earth Release Jutsu. I think it fits Boruto better considering that he has Water, Wind, and Lightning as his affinities.
Idk I mean he could be like Neji in some case and pull it off.
Are you daft? The manga explicitly stated the sharingan was needed to complete Chidori. AThe only way Boruto could learn it now is if Kishi and the new guy completely disregarded their old rule.

Nope. He would need the Sharingan.
Meh, there are work arounds. The rasengan wasn't throwable until Boruto. There was never a defined rule that stated the chidori was only functional with sharingan, just that it was too fast for regular shinobi perceptions or kid Kakashi's to be specific. It's unlikely but not out of the question.

You think Kishi would remember that? Besides things can change lol
Actuality, it is mentioned heavily in the Kakashi novel, and is a major part of Kakashi's arc in the story; he feels he is unworthy of being Hokage without the Sharingan and his signature Raikiri. However, in the end he develops his purple lightning technique and proves to himself that he's strong using his own power.
