I'm pretty sure there's a part in the manga, where ma and pa look at naruto and see jiraiya and minato above him in silhouettes, maybe minato was a sage, they couldnt know him otherwise.

Sage mode is always a must, too godlike for FTG

yes minato was a sage the same as jiraiya was but my understanding of it was he never managed to take it further than what jiraiya did either because he couldnt or where he died young vs. madara, maybe never had the chance and to say he dont need sage mode cause of his flying thunder god tech is abit silly.. flying thunder god with sage powers at the end of it.. maybe we'll even see something of the sort vs. madara in the upcoming manga

he never did reach sage mode and if he did fukasaku did'nt mention anything about his father minato >.>





he said jirayia boy and u only have guts and high chakra to achieve sage mode and then naruto surpased his master ...and minato never used sage mode when he was battling madara (or they never even mentioned of any other battles where he used sage mode >.> )
