after the pain arc .

People often say nagatos jutsu (rinne tensei) was unable to revive jiraiya due to the time and that could be but there is no proof of a time limit to rinne tensei (refer obito/madaras plan to revive madara with rinne tensei).

So why do we not have jiraiya back to life?? Well things are much worse than you think. Imagine if rinne tensei actually revived jiraiya and he did come back to life (did I hear you say "yay jiraiya alive"?) well no.

Kabuto s reason for not being able to revive jiraiya is that he is at the bottom of the sea in the hidden rain village where the water pressure is to strong for a human to survive. (I think you know where this is going now... Keep a plastic bag beside you for the next part)

Could it be that jiraiya was revived successfully only to find himself at the bottom of the sea surrounded completely by water to make him drown within the next 5 minutes and choking every last piece of oxygen out of his newly acquired life coupled with the pressure of the bottom of the sea breaking every bone in his body. His mind filled with one single thought "why was I brought back whyyyyyyy??

Jiraiya s death scene just got real..
Not what you expected huh??

Uhm seen this before, however, surely the bones wont break from water pressure..... However, if he is revived at that depth, how is he gonna obtain oxygen? We don't know how rinne tensei works, but it seems it brings a person back to life, heal his injuries, etc. In other words you start breathing again, and your heart start pumping.

Jiraya cannot be revived, because he needs to breath in oxygen to make his heart pump it out to the body. This is impossible, when he is under water.

Jiraiyas bones aren't brittle enough too be broken under pressure.
who says he sank? He could've floated away ;D.
+ he'd just summon a toad and chill bang in there.

No... nagato said there's still time to revive the people i killed in konoha , if he would revive everyone he has killed, where is hanzou? where's half of amegakure, where's everybody else?
probably that time has to do with their souls not yet arrived in the pure world or anything.. to revive someone that's dead a long time probably takes a bit more and probably a new body has to be created etc.

Nagato confined His jutsu to the village and it cost Him His life, now you wanted Him to revive Jiraiya in a distant country too. Nagato was getting worn out juts fighting Naruto and you seem to think He had unlimited chakra well His death proves you wrong their always a limit in this case its call power.

A lot of people are not understanding my thread and are countering arguments I didn't even write, officially my last NB thread, only 10% of replies show they've read the thread, the rest just rambling on about something else caused by either bad reading comprehension or not reading at all..

Tbh, if one cooperated with Fukusaku, he could do a reverse summoning on Jiraya as he was revived... He wont be crushed by the water, because there is no air in his body.

Lol, that didn't cross my mind.. That'd suck! I wouldn't want to drown twice.

That'd be a funny thing for Jiraiya to say if he was brought back via Edo Tensei, he would go like, "No! No! Please! Nn-- Ooh, wait.. No water here.. Well, never mind, the last time I was brought back, I was completely submerged and drowned.."

Honestly, the people that doesn't get what u r saying r just children from elementary schools. They just dont know any better.

I think manda can go underground maybe.... and Simply it wouldn't be fair to Naruto if his sensei is revived , meaning why only Naruto's sensei... I'm sure he would be revived if Jiraiya wasn't the only sannin left

It's like in dbz. Everyone wondered why the Saiyans never came back after they wished for to bring back everyone killed by Frieza and his men. Only they did come back. In the asteroid field that was once their planet. Only to suffocate and die again wondering what was going on.

Sick stuff
