All the villains got a remption arc, except Black Zetsu and Kaguya.
Itachi's redemption was the fact he never needed a redemption cus he was just misunderstood, HOWEVER really he was understood completely just not with all the information.
So how would have been redeemed if he had had another redemption arc? How would he repent for his sins? Would it even be possible?
Were the Uchiha actually oppressed aside from Danzo's surveillance? The fact they planned a coup instead of public organized protesting shows how utterly dumb and power hungry they were.
Itachi couldn't really do anything in his situation so he's the most innocent (although he's an idiot). If he said no, he'd be killed some other way, like being killed during the coup d'etat by the root or sent on a suicide mission and be killed then. Kohona is the one in the wrong by blaming most of the problems on the Uchiha and Itachi

Yes, isolated and separated from the village by Tobirama. He even put them in one area so he could deal with them. And then from Hiruzen's reign to their genocide, they were isolated. 3ven during the 3rd war their achievements were hidden (Itachi Shinden) by the elders so they aren't seen favourably.

Nonsense. It was Danzo who put them under surveillance and relocated their compound.
And since when were those guys isolated? How come we never saw any sign of it? They lived in the same village, used the same services as other citizens (from school to shops), and had positions inside and outside the police force.
And if you wanna count Itachi Shinden as canon, you should count Izumi's story canon too: a girl who was shunned and discriminated by the Uchiha because she wasn't pure-blooded. Uchiha clearly saw themselves as superior.
Where in the anime/manga, the word isolation was used regarding them?

Danzo was following the will of Senju Tobirama. And yes it was Tobirama who started surveillance on the Uchiha. Read the 3rd databook, I forgot the Annie's name he used to spy on the Uchiha.
They were isolated and antagonised by Tobirama, he started the shit against the Uchiha not the other way round. On the point of superiority, well the Uchiha were. Their bloodline is the most feared in the world, so..
As for the Izumi, she was also eliminated as an Uchiha clearly the village didn't give af about her.

What isolation? Uchiha were in the same village, using the same services as other Konoha citizens from school to shops and there wasn't a sign of "no Uchiha" anywhere.
Tobirama gave them exclusive control over the law enforcement. He was the one who understood the Uchiha and gave them the means to channel their unstable emotions into something useful.
He could have made Curse of Hatred utter public knowledge and lock up the Uchiha in a madhouse. He didn't. He was too kind to the Uchiha and gave them too much.
So cut the bullshit, Uchiha apologist. Tobirama didn't do the Uchiha any wrong.

What services, Orochimaru pointed out Nazirama's intentions. Nazirama admitted he wanted to deal with them that's why he placed them where they were. Nazirama was the one whispering in Hashirama's ear and underling the Uchiha. Danzo adhered to Nazirama's ideology. He wanted to create senju dominated village, which is why he kept the Uchiha out.
The Uchiha' s real power lays in battle, by restricting them and isolating them to the village he wanted to limit their strength. Nazirama himself admitted the Uchiha have a power the senju can't rival, if you can't rival it you contain it.
Perhaps the manga itself needed a better victim-hero for it's major redemption story?
I feel Sai should've been done better. Perhaps an arc focusing on his past assassinations, including innocent people and maybe even anti-village pacifist protesters (@Demon) who see the system as immoral etc. It would've been epic if maybe his brother had actually been a pro-Danzo person who he would actually have to fight against properly (instead of Sasori . . ) to complete his redemption. It would also have given him a proper character development arc.
