You need to spread some rep before you can rep this person again

So i spread like 5 to 10 or so rep to others(went into the meme thread xd) and i still cant rep this person.
Now i can understand that you cant repeatedly rep the same person and would need to spread to others first, but this seems to be a bit to much dont you think?
Not the end of the world or anything though.

Any specific amount of spread rep that you need to do?

OT: It might mean in a particular time period you can't +rep that person for. If that's the case then rep boosting should become utterly useless.

I know. Just wanted to rep this i can guess your element/akatsuki member thread and a bogard thread but was like ''screw this'' after spreading like a big handful of reps and still reading ''you need to spread rep''.

So was just wondering if there are any specific numbers set for spreading rep.

You can't rep the same post more than once it has to be a different post. By the same person and yes you still have to spread it out

I am fully aware of that.
Thats why i said i had spread rep to a big handfull of others, so that i could go back to that person.
But it still says ''you need to spread rep''...

its to stop ppl like you from repping the same person all day long and if im not mistaken spreading rep as you call it is rep abuse.....you dont rep ppl for no reason just so you can rep someone again like no wonder ppl here get rep so easily half the time ppl are just spreading rep

I dont rep the same person all day long. If i see a good thread, i like to rep it. It so happened those 2 threads were made by people i have repped rescently. Meaning, i needed to spread rep around, before i can rep that thread.
The exact term, used on this website is ''spreading rep''. Its is not something i have come up with.

Just reminding you all too that spreading rep just to spread it to get rid of the rep spam limit is against the rules too. There is a reason why you aren't allowed to rep the same user multiple times. So please only use the rep when you have a valid reason to do so. It would make the base a more fun place for everyone, where rep would actually mean something other than a spreading NB STD.
