Kakashi's not only my favorite Naruto character, but my favorite character in all of fiction. And he's now a fodder. And he didn't even get a child! But Orochimaru did, and his son is on the main team and is very relevant!!! WTF!!!

And Yagura got a grandson who's probably gonna be as relevant as Gaara was in the original series. That's pretty freakin' relevant.

If I had it my way, Kakashi and Mei would've been a thing, but even Mei got shafted. She's now just a lonely aging woman who drinks and eats her sorrows away!

Yeah, a lot of characters got shafted, but this is KAKASHI I'm talking about. The biggest character only after Naruto and Sasuke in the original series.

I wish Kakashi had a child at least as relevant as Asuma and Kurenai's daughter, Mirai, at least existing.

I love Kishi to death and am forever grateful for him for creating Naruto, but yeah, he made some poor decisions towards the end.

Oh her? Yeah, I read the Kakashi novel a while back. I indeed consider the light novels canon. Forgot about her because I never thought them to be a serious potential couple. Plus, as his first act of Sixth Hokage, Kakashi sentenced her to working at that prison for life.

Yeah, Kakashi and Mei's kid would've been the first child of two Kages, let alone Kages of two different villages!

Kakashi was too scarred for children but yes he should've had several. Not with Mei they wouldn't take up after kakashi. It wouldn't be good for diplomacy and balance either being kages and all.
