You know what the most ironic thing about Obito and Madara's plan is?

This is how I see it. Obito declared,more appropriate than started as started would mean just attack without any prior notice,the war to force them to unite,threatning them by POWER,subconsciously following his own statement of the past that is to destroy the so called ninja,which he mentioned to kakashi in his full speech of friendship,to give naruto(his past self) a platform to test out his philosophy of uniting people through LOVE(his past self's belief),thus indicating that peace is only possible if two opposing forces work together.

Actually he just wanted to confirm which belief,madara's or his past self obito's,is right. He took the role of madara and let naruto to take his role. See,he is one hell of a complicated yet interesting and
best psychological character ever.

AND BTW MADARA DIDN'T HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT,HIS PLAN WAS I.T. AND HE DIDN'T STARTED WAR.

Except for the fact if Obito had'nt convinced everybody he was Madara then they would'nt take him seriously.So yes Madara did have a factor in starting the war because it was his reputation and name that caused the ninja world to unite.

They had already brought the entire shinobi world together,in a way Infinite Tsukiyomi isn't needed at all since everyone is working together.In some hilarious way Madara and Obito had accomplished what they had set out to do.

If Obito had'nt started a war then the Gokage would have no reason to work together and they would continue to find ways to weaken the other's village.

Hmm yes and no. While it is true that everyone has come together. it isn't going to last. War will break out again after the 5 kage step down and naruto dies. The infinite tsukuyomi on the other hand was meant to be permanent.
