Anyone else believe the mysterious person is Kabuto. Remember he was fighting barefoot. I say fighting because that foot is beatup, and it CANNOT be Obito. He is losing control of his body atm.

But Itachi did say that when in Izanami, if you find your true self, or "Your way", then the Genjutsu would be released.

Maybe thats what happened. I don't think he specifically came for Sasuke though, I think he realized who he really is and his purpose, and decided to help the leaf.

I feel like he just got to the battlefield and came across Sasuke.​

this is a we'll thought out idea .He is a very skilled medical ninja so he might as well help sasuke
