I know YOU ALL would choose the later.

It's like ***, you mostly do it for pleasure, but there is no logic nor reason in doing something just for pleasure.

The reasonable reason to have *** is for reproduction, which ensures the continuation of the human race. This is quite logical as well. You don't want that as much as you want pleasure so you use condoms.

This can be applied to many other things as well but this seems like a more fitting example because people are onssesed with *** because of how pleasure able it is for them.

The only conclusion that can be drawn is that most people value pleasure over logic and reasone.

It's natures way of getting us to do it in the first place so we, what else? Reproduce! Without pleasure, we would see no purpose to reproduce except the fact that it's crucial for our generation to continue. Dopamine is the brains way of rewarding the person. So when it comes to life, we subconsciously do things that refer to how good we are feeling . If we are feeling good, we have the tendency to act kinder to people. If we are not under the influence of dopamine, we act less than willing to help around and show our appreciation. Pleasure came before logic. So as expected, we are more hard wired for pleasure than logic.

Very few things are ONLY logic/reason with no pleasure, just as very few things are ONLY pleasure with no logic or reason. The *** example works because we as humans are biologically wired to experience it as so pleasurable that few things can rival it in priority. Other than that, you would find that a disciplined and conscientious person would, the night before a huge exam, do the logical/reasonable act of studying rather than the pleasurable act of internet/xbox or whatever.
